Tis' the season to be jolly FA LALA LA LA LA

I just came back from re-watching Avatar, in 3D, and as i was just saying on Twitter, watching it in 2D was just like reading the story-board. You do not see the movie until you see it in 3D. And the movie was pure awesomeness, even after watching it twice in the cinema, well in different effects at least.

I could really connect with the movie as I used to control a Troll in World of Warcraft, and the trolls you see in this movie is exactly how Trolls are - live in jungles, they're archers & sharmains - hunters & regenerators, they ride on horse-like & bird-like creatures, they have pointed ears & devil tails... it's amazing how Avatar brought all these troll aspects to life.

Anyway... coming back to reality, Christmas is just around the corner! and it is certainly nice to see Christmas trees all around ya, hear Christmas carols float in the air and see places you go to jazzed up with a vibrant Christmasy feel!

Pavilion's taken it to a whole new level wit this majestic setup.

People are getting into the Christmas mood too. Was having lunch with my colleagues to other day and this guy came into sight.... Audrey insisted that i took a picture of him and tweeted it.
a
LOL... I like the spirit but he just came across looking more like a bad santa! haha.
a
Christmas season in Malaysia also falls in the holiday season, and its absolutely great to hear colleagues & friends take time off and spend time with their children at home or on vacation. It's the only time of the year where they can escape the system (the system that puts you under debt, encourages you to get into more debt & forces you to work your ass off to repay the debt) and spend time with their offsprings - what we humans are mandated to do.
a
It's also great to see kids rush to the supermarkets to buy their Christmas socks so they can hang it on the wall (so papa or mama can put Christmas pressies in their socks while they're asleep) and wake up thinking Santa has climbed down the chimney or came in through the window to leave presents in their socks.

It's nice to see gifts being sent around - wine, cakes, cupcakes..etc

And as much as i love the commercial Christmas, for it reminds you of the season, i do not forget God. I've not been to church every Sunday.. but i try and make it more frequent at the Christmas season. Which is not ideal - you should be going every Sunday - but... yeah LOL

And kids, you do not worship Santa in Christmas! hehe, you worship God :) God sent someone to renew the lives of humans, who were plagued with sin, and thats the ocassion we're celebrating. Not santa climbing down the chimney to leave a present in your socks. I mean its still OK to practice that myth for the sake of 'feeling' Christmas but just have in mind that that is not representative of what Christmas means :)
a
So not forgetting the real meaning of Christmas, our department did a trip to a speacial home. From what i heard, its a home where kids with abussive parents live in protection when they're dads are awake at home. Alot of their dads are drunkards btw. And if any of you daddies are reading this, drink responsibly for fucks sake! your kids need you and you're supposed to be taking care of them and not have them refuge in this home...
a
Anyway, the kids were awesome.
a
We sent them the A&W bear to dance & play games wit em...
a

We also bought presents for all the kids in the special home, and i was tasked to buy this kid a Christmas present. Neelesh. 7 years of age.

This is what i got him. Really wicked spiderman pencil case, where you can press buttons and errect like sharperners & compartments - you know the kinda pencil-case you really wanted when you were about 10 years old or less.

Got him a Marvel stationary set as well to fill up his pencil case and a colour pencil set with a colour book to draw on.
a
He was so happy he went showing it around to all his friends - he better be!!! hahah i never had this when i was 10.

Besides, i've also been buying tissue paper off the blind ladies who walk around asking for donation when we go out during lunch time. I do smell some exploitation & scandal... i've never failed for many many reasons i'll spare now, but i just hope a small part of that money really does go to the blind ladies.
a
So i've been buying alot of these tissues packs and i really only use 1 to to wipe my mouth & hands after lunch and i'd leave the whole pack in a red basket i have in my work cubicle. But every time i turn to the red basket for a tissue, there's never really any in there. So with that, i feel really good for the tissues are put to good use as well. One stone kill 2 birds.
a
Oh btw, talking about Christmas, i was having dinner at a fine dine the other night and i overheard the table next to us. The guy bought like this bottle of really good red wine. And he said that he was gonna get a few bottles during Christmas so they drink up and not get drunk because during Christmas, red wine turns into the blood of Jesus. Talk about the true meaning of Christmas huh...
aa
Anyway......
a
Merry Christmas! (in case i dont update my blog again before this coming weekend! haha)

I was impressed with Avatar's action figures and also with the movie. I think is one of greatest I've watched in my whole life.
